Through outreach, advocacy, and community building, Integrated Schools mobilizes families – particularly those who are white &/or privileged – to practice antiracist school integration.
We envision a racially/socioeconomically integrated public school system in which resources are shared equitably, power is created equally, and humanity is valued unconditionally. Core to a more cohesive and inclusive society will be three main drivers:
- with new narratives around parenting, race and education, enough white &/or privileged families will prioritize antiracist integration to support policy,
- all communities will reap the benefits of integrated schools, and
- constituencies will demand that all policies be grounded in equity.
